Infix., Inc. (hereinafter referred to as "the Company") establishes the following privacy policy (hereinafter referred to as "this Policy") regarding the handling of user information, including personal information of users, in relation to products or services (hereinafter referred to as "the Services") provided or handled by the Company.

(3) Information Acquired at Event Venues Such as Conferences and Exhibitions

  • Name, address, phone number (including mobile devices), fax number, email address, purchase history, information related to device maintenance services, workplace information (workplace name, department name, job title, address, phone number, fax number).

(2) Inquiry Information

Information included in communications from customers to the Company through any means (e.g., web, phone, etc.) includes:

  • Name, address, phone number (including mobile devices), fax number, email address, purchase history.

  • Personal Information:

    • Name, address, phone number (including mobile devices), fax number, email address, information of current workplace or school (organization name, job title, address, phone number, fax number), academic background.

Information included in communications from job applicants to the Company through any means (e.g., web, phone, etc.) includes:

  • Name, address, phone number (including mobile devices), fax number, email address.

(2) Information Provided by Other Services Upon User's Permission

When users permit linkage with other services such as social networking services when using the Services, the Company collects the following information based on the agreement provided at the time of permission:

  • The ID used by the user on the external service.

  • Other information disclosed by the user to the linked service as per the privacy settings of the external service.

(3) Information Collected by the Company When Users Use the Services

The Company may collect information regarding access status and the usage methods of the Services, including:

  • Referrer

  • IP address

  • Server access logs

  • Cookies, ADID, IDFA, and other identifiers (collectively referred to as "Cookies, etc.").

(4) Information Collected Based on Individual Consent

With the user’s consent, the Company may collect the following information from the user’s device:

2. Purposes of Use

The specific purposes for using user information in relation to the provision of the Services are as follows:

  1. Transactions and information provision related to products and services such as medical devices and cosmetics sold by the Company, including after-sales services (including websites and web services operated by the Company).

  2. Transactions and information provision related to services such as device maintenance (including information related to the quality and safety of medical devices).

  3. Provision of information related to medical and clinical matters (including information on the appropriate use of medical devices).

  4. Notification of events such as lectures and seminars.

  5. Development of new products and services.

  6. Notification of campaigns and other announcements related to products and services.

  7. Conducting surveys related to products and services.

  8. Notifications and reports to government agencies.

  9. Measuring and analyzing user traffic and behavior.

  10. Delivery, display, and measurement of advertisements.

  11. Responding to inquiries and providing information related to the Services.

  12. Addressing actions that violate the terms, policies, etc. (hereinafter referred to as "Terms") related to the Services.

3. Provision to Third Parties

3-1 The Company will not provide personal information included in user information to third parties without prior consent from users, except in the following cases or as outlined in 3-4:

  1. When outsourcing the handling of personal information within the scope necessary for achieving the purposes of use.

  2. When providing information due to business succession resulting from a merger or other reasons.

  3. Other cases permitted by the Act on the Protection of Personal Information (hereinafter referred to as "Personal Information Protection Act") and other laws and regulations.

3-2 The Company will create and maintain records when providing personal information to third parties.

3-3 The Company will take necessary steps and create records when receiving personal information from third parties.

3-4 The Company may provide information to affiliated companies. In this case, customer personal data may be provided to third parties in the following countries:

  1. South Korea, China, Luxembourg, France, Switzerland, Italy, Spain.

  2. For information on personal data protection systems in each country, please refer to the information provided by the Personal Information Protection Commission.

  3. Recipients generally take measures regarding the handling of personal data at a level similar to those required for personal data handlers in Japan.

4. Security Measures

4-1 The Company takes necessary and appropriate measures to prevent the leakage, loss, or damage of user information and to ensure the security of user information.

4-2 When outsourcing the handling of personal information to third parties, the Company selects contractors that meet the Company’s selection criteria and monitors their handling of personal information through methods such as periodic reports.

5. Requests for Disclosure, etc. of Personal Information

5-1 If a user requests notification of the purpose of use, disclosure of retained personal data or records of third-party provision, correction, addition, deletion of the content of retained personal data, suspension of use, erasure, or suspension of provision to third parties (collectively referred to as "requests for disclosure, etc."), the Company will verify the identity of the user and respond promptly in accordance with the Company's procedures.

7. Procedures for Changing the Privacy Policy

The Company may modify this Policy as necessary. However, if a change requires user consent under the law, the revised Policy will apply only to users who have agreed to the change through the methods specified by the Company. The Company will notify users of the effective date and content of the revised Policy by displaying the revised Policy on the Company's website or through other appropriate methods.
